Cartoon Project
The strongest area of my work would be the 3D effect that the cartoon gives off, i believe it really makes the cartoon stand out. I have two pictures which is a before and after, i think that changing the color of the shirt from red to gray was a good choice because it allowed the dodge and burn tools full effect to be used. The drawing could definitely use more improvement, the shoes are deformed and so is the head, also the face is lacking in detail. The easiest part of this activity was tracing the drawing using the pen tool and smoothing it over to make the lines into natural curves. The hardest part was drawing the actual cartoon as i am no artist. I utilized the pen tool to trace the cartoon, the paint bucket was used for all the coloring of the drawing, also the smooth tool for the curving of lines and cleaning up any mistakes, and i used the dodge and burn tools to make my cartoon have a 3D look and also to give it some shadowing. The goal was to make a cartoon character of yourself, i believe that i reached this goal as the clothes i used matched my own and the expression is one i commonly wear. If we do this again i will definitely be more careful when drawing and add more details to the body, also i may add a background and some props if it works out.

I think the strongest area of my work my color balancing, although i am not 100% satisfied with the colors i have, they work well for my artwork. I can improve on my creativity, the artwork doesn't really seem like anything too unique in my opinion. I am not a very artistic person and find it challenging to make my work "stand out". Uploading the pictures and quotes was easy to do, it only takes all of about 5 seconds to do so. I found it difficult to change the photo into something that wouldn't be boring. I used the move tool to move around my photos and the text boxes, i used color balance to change the color of my background and Polaroids. For cropping, the polygonal lasso and magnetic lasso were used in order to cut the original photo and keep only the Polaroids. I would most likely take a different picture and maybe try to mess with the Polaroids more, like maybe have an arm come out and punch something.

1. I think the strongest area of my work was the concept of my artwork.
2. I can improve the perfection of the final result, some of my letters were not perfectly aligned.
3. The easiest part of this activity was adding in more layers of my letter.
4. I found it difficult to try and get my letters to move the way i wanted them to.
5. I used the duplicate layer tool to create many layers of my letter. I used the text box tool to make original copies of my letter. Also i used free transform to change the size and angle of my letters. And i also used the brush tool to color my background.
6. The letter I used was the letter T, and i used it to create a bridge.
7. I would probably change my design and maybe make a building of some sort.
